Based in the leafy suburb of Fulwood in Sheffield, I am a fully trained Osteopath with well over 30 years’ experience. During that time I have served on the General Osteopathic Council, worked as an Osteopath in the NHS  and enjoyed life with my family. I have evolved my practice into one that is calming and caring and have a tranquil treatment room with-in the reassuring comfort of our family home.

Welcome to my Osteopathic Practice in Fulwood, Sheffield

Patients  come in all shapes and sizes, age groups and with a variety of concerns. Often they have been recommended by friends, or their GP, but all are seeking help with painful symptoms, advice and reassurance  which I strive to give.  I have contacts with a range of fellow professionals in Sheffield and so, if necessary, am able to direct patients to appropriate help whether that be to a different Osteopath, for a different treatment, to a Pilates class, or even where to buy trekking poles!

I am trained to diagnose and when I suspect an underlying medical condition where osteopathy is not appropriate, I will not hesitate to refer the patient back to their GP with their agreement.

We are a family friendly practice  There is free on street parking right outside the house and  partners and friends of patients are always welcome to come in and wait in the reception area with a cup of tea or coffee. Free Wi-Fi, daily newspapers and magazines are always available and we even have a toy cupboard and bookcase to keep children entertained while their parent or guardian is being treated.

Neither does a patient feel the need to dash straight off after an appointment. (Secretly, my receptionists (and my husband) like nothing better than to chat with patients! Artefacts around the house, collected on our travels, are a popular talking point as are the paintings and floral displays!) Sometimes treatments are so soothing they can make you feel a little light-headed. To sit with a cup of tea admiring our garden and the view over Mayfield Valley makes all the difference.
